In the late hours of a Saturday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a life was tragically cut short by violence. Dajourn Holmes, a 26-year-old male, was driving his vehicle on October 14, 2017, when he was struck by multiple gunshots. The assault caused him to lose control of his car and crash into a light pole in the 1700 block of Plank Road.
