Dametri Joseph Romero, a 19-year-old Black male from Saint Martinville, LA, tragically lost his life on October 21, 2017. The incident occurred following an altercation in a vehicle with DeAnthony Francois, a 30-year-old Black male from Saint Martinville. The altercation escalated, resulting in Francois shooting Romero in the area of Freedom Lane in Saint Martinville.
