A tragic incident at a wedding reception in Cade, Louisiana claimed the life of 20-year-old Javeuin "Sexy" Williams on March 22, 2025. Williams, who was serving as a groomsman at the wedding of Ray and Marquis, was one of three people shot at the Cade Community Center in the 1600 block of Smede Highway around 10:30 PM. The shooting occurred following a verbal altercation between several individuals at what was meant to be a joyous family celebration.
