Christopher Singleton, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 31, 2017, in Amelia, Louisiana. Singleton, a resident of Morgan City, was pronounced dead at Teche Regional Medical Center after sustaining a gunshot wound. The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. on Friendship Alley in Amelia.
