On a Halloween night in Amelia, Louisiana, the life of 23-year-old Christopher Jamal Singleton was tragically cut short. On October 31, 2017, just before 11 p.m., deputies from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting on Friendship Alley. There they found Singleton unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Teche Regional Medical Center, but tragically, he was pronounced dead.
