Adnan Alsar, a 51-year-old Syrian-American male, was tragically killed on December 6, 2017, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Alsar, who managed a Subway restaurant in Gentilly, was shot during a botched armed robbery. The incident occurred around 7:15 PM when Lavar Butler, the suspect, entered the Subway with a semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash from Alsar.
