Tyris Dontrell James, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 30, 2018, in Metairie, Louisiana. Tyris was born on November 16, 2000, and attended Net Charter of New Orleans School. He was the beloved son of Michelle James and Milton Johnwell Jr., and he had a large extended family who cherished his memory.
