On a cold Monday in Houma, Louisiana, the life of 24-year-old Khari Andre Bateast, a Black/African American male, came to an untimely end on February 12, 2018. The suddenness of his passing left his family and community in mourning. Bateast was a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, where he was known by those close to him.
