Khari Bateast, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 12, 2018, in Houma, Louisiana. His body was discovered near a home on Truman Street, with multiple gunshot wounds. The Houma Police Department received a call around 6 a.m. that morning, reporting a man lying near a house.
