Byron "Hubba" Scott, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 15, 2018, in New Orleans, Louisiana. On that fateful evening, at approximately 6:50 PM, Byron was riding his bicycle in the 1300 block of Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard when he was approached by an unknown vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle opened fire, striking Byron multiple times. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, Byron succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
