Christopher Mercadal, a 33-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 27, 2018, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was shot to death while exercising at the Aaaarchitect Institute located in the 3900 block of Howard Avenue. The incident occurred on the edge of Gert Town, and Christopher was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding his death have left his family and friends in deep mourning.
