In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in New Orleans, the life of 58-year-old Olah Bessid was tragically cut short. On September 18, 2018, Bessid was working at the Fuel Express Mart on Hayne Boulevard in the Little Woods neighborhood when two individuals entered the store in an attempted robbery. The encounter turned violent, and Bessid was shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
