Justin Netter, a 40-year-old African American male from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on September 29, 2018. He was found deceased with gunshot wounds near a playground at the Port Royal Apartments on Airline Highway. The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to the scene around 11:52 p.m. and discovered Netter lying on the ground. The investigation into his murder was immediately launched by the BRPD's Violent Crimes Unit.
