Deverous D. Holden, a 25-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on June 11, 2019, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Stoner Avenue. Holden was transported to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at approximately 2:17 p.m. The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office identified Holden through fingerprint comparison and scheduled an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
