discovered deceased inside their Metairie home. The cause of death for both individuals was determined to be a gunshot wound to the head. Investigations by law enforcement concluded that the incident was a murder-suicide, with her husband being the perpetrator.
Bonny was a mother to two children, a son and a daughter, and a grandmother. Her passing was mourned by her family, friends, and church community, who remembered her as a cherished individual. A memorial service was held in her honor at Grace Presbyterian Church in Metairie.
