In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in New Orleans, the life of Josef Christopher Brown was tragically cut short. On July 24, 2019, the 28-year-old male was in his home in the 3500 block of DeSaix Boulevard when an act of violence shattered the quiet neighborhood. Two unidentified men, their faces obscured by ski masks, forcibly entered his residence at approximately 12:30 a.m. and fatally shot him.
