Aaron Bannister, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 23, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred at approximately 3:10 pm when police responded to a call about a male who had been shot on the second-floor walking area of the Garden Oaks Apartments located at 3300 Garden Oaks Drive. Aaron Bannister had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
