Aaron Bannister, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 23, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred at approximately 3:10 pm when police responded to a call about a male who had been shot on the second-floor walking area of the Garden Oaks Apartments located at 3300 Garden Oaks Drive.
