In the early evening of December 7, 2019, a trip to a local park in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, turned fatal for Ivory Profit Jr., a 25-year-old male. Profit was at Howell Park on Winbourne Avenue when he was shot. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after his arrival. The incident that led to his death is believed by investigators to have been a robbery.
