In the late afternoon of September 18, 2020, a day that began like any other for two friends in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, ended in unforeseen tragedy. Jermaine Sampson, a 20-year-old male, was with his friend, 19-year-old Brandon Spratley. The pair had just returned from a shooting range, and as they were settling in at a residence on North 7th Street, the unimaginable happened.
