Dequan Michael Sullivan, a 17-year-old male, tragically lost his life on Thursday, December 26, 2019, in his hometown of Thibodaux, Louisiana. The young man, known affectionately as 'Quan,' was the victim of gun violence. A native and resident of the city, his sudden death left a void in the community and within his family, which includes his parents, Monica Stepter Thompson and Derrick Sullivan, numerous siblings, and his own young daughter, Avah Arielle Sullivan.
