In the late afternoon hours of a Friday in Jeanerette, Louisiana, the life of 17-year-old Kendall Thompson Jr., a male, was tragically cut short. On January 17, 2020, Thompson was fatally shot near the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Guiberteau Street.
