In a tragic turn of events on April 26, 2020, Baton Rouge Police Lieutenant Glenn Dale Hutto Jr., a 45-year-old male, was shot and killed in the line of duty. A 21-year veteran of the force, Hutto was ambushed while responding to a tip about a murder suspect's whereabouts.
