Anteshia Mony Logwood, a 20-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on June 11, 2020, in Monroe, Louisiana. The incident occurred at the Parkview Apartments, where she was shot by Brittany Tucker, a 30-year-old woman who was reportedly experiencing a mental health crisis. According to Monroe police, Tucker approached Logwood and made an irrational comment, which Logwood dismissed. Tucker then produced a recently purchased handgun and fired a shot, killing Logwood.
