A dispute over a parking space on Father's Day escalated into a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 40-year-old Tyrell Washington Sr. of Marrero and left his son critically injured. The incident occurred at a residence in the 900 block of North Clark Lane near Westwego, where an argument between Washington and his stepfather, Mark Jones, turned violent.
