On December 8, 2023, 16-year-old Dylan LaFluer from Westwego, Louisiana, tragically lost his life in a triple shooting in Waggaman. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Daffodil Lane, where authorities discovered three victims: two juveniles and one adult. Dylan was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
