In the quiet community of Waggaman, Louisiana, the night of December 8, 2023, was shattered by the sound of gunfire that would tragically end the life of 16-year-old Dylan LaFluer. A native of New Iberia and resident of Harvey, the young male's life was cut short in a triple shooting that unfolded on Daffodil Lane.
That Friday evening, deputies from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office were called to the scene of the shooting where they discovered three victims.
While an adult and another juvenile sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital, Dylan was pronounced dead at the scene.
