On January 5, 2021, Trikee Kelly, a 34-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 8:27 PM in the 2300 block of Jefferson Avenue. Kelly was pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot injuries. Alongside Kelly, a 31-year-old male victim and a 37-year-old female victim were also shot and sustained life-threatening injuries. They fled the scene in a vehicle seeking help and were transported to a local hospital.
