In the evening hours of January 5, 2021, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a burst of gunfire shattered the night on Jefferson Avenue, leaving a scene of violence that would claim the life of Trikee Kelly. Kelly, a 34-year-old African American male, was fatally wounded and died at the scene. The shooting, which occurred around 8:30 p.m. near Plank Road, also resulted in serious injuries to two other individuals, a 31-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, who were rushed to a nearby hospital with life-t ...
