Raemel AnDrieka Joél Richardson, a 31-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on March 17, 2021, in Hester, Louisiana. Her body was discovered by a group of children on the banks of the Mississippi River in St. James Parish. Richardson had been reported missing earlier that day when she failed to show up for work. She was found shot to death, and her car was later discovered torched and abandoned in Zachary.
