On the night of January 2, 2025, the Alexandria Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the 300 block of Florence Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of Andrew Howard, a 35-year-old male resident of Alexandria, Louisiana, who had succumbed to a gunshot wound.
