Deveuntae Patterson, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 19, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Patterson was fatally shot at the Northside Villa Apartments, located in the 4500 block of North Market Street. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m., when Patterson, who was a passenger in a vehicle, was struck by gunfire.
