On July 26, 2021, 25-year-old Kelvin Oliver was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on Bayou Road, near the boundary of the Fair Grounds neighborhood and the 7th Ward in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kelvin Oliver, a young man of African American ethnicity, was fatally shot along with 23-year-old Nadia Payne. Both victims succumbed to their injuries at the hospital later that day.
