Kolby Louis Luke LeBlanc, a 19-year-old male from Saint-Martinville, Louisiana, tragically passed away on August 6, 2021. Kolby was the grandson of former St. Martinville Mayor Thomas Nelson and the nephew of current St. Martinville mayoral candidate Lisa Nelson. He was shot in the parking lot of a convenience store on East Bridge Street in St. Martinville. The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on August 6, 2021.
