Malik McDonald, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on October 7, 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Verbena Street in the Gentilly neighborhood. The New Orleans Police Department responded to a call of aggravated battery by shooting at the location. Upon arrival, officers discovered Malik McDonald suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
