In the late hours of a Monday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a domestic incident escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of a 33-year-old man. On October 11, 2021, Latrell Braxton was fatally shot in the 6500 block of Pembroke Avenue. The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to a call regarding a domestic dispute at approximately 11:00 p.m. and discovered that Braxton had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
