Marcus Snyder, a male student at Grambling State University, tragically lost his life on October 17, 2021, during the university's homecoming week. Snyder was fatally shot on campus, and his death was part of a larger incident that also left several others injured. The shooting occurred early Sunday morning, and the campus was placed on lockdown until the area was deemed safe.
