In the winter of 2021, the life of 29-year-old Reginald O'Keith Jones Jr., an African American man, was tragically cut short in Shreveport, Louisiana. On the evening of Sunday, December 19th, gunshots rang out on Bushnell Lane, and when the sound faded, Jones had been fatally wounded.

Emergency services responded to the scene, but despite their efforts, Jones succumbed to his injuries. The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office later identified him as the victim of a homicide. At the time of the i ...
