Death by Force

On May 5, 2022, at approximately 11:45 a.m., New Orleans Police Department First District officers conducted a wellness check in the 1900 block of Saint Ann Street. Inside an apartment, they discovered 48-year-old Edward Moore, an African American male, unresponsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
