In the evening hours of June 16, 2022, tragedy struck in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, when 50-year-old Jeffery Paul Follins was fatally shot at his residence on Thomas H. Delpit Drive. The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to a call around 8:20 p.m. and discovered Follins suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite emergency medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
