Orin Grant Jr., a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 2, 2022, in Harvey, Louisiana. Orin was the son of Rev. Dr. Orin D. Grant Sr., a well-known pastor at St. Paul Baptist Church in Gretna. Orin Jr. was a graduate of the New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy and was employed as a percussionist at several local churches.
