On a Saturday afternoon in Opelousas, Louisiana, the life of 20-year-old Ryan'Trayvian Darby was cut short. On October 22, 2022, Darby was found lying in the 100 block of Academy Street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The Opelousas Police Department immediately launched an investigation into the deadly shooting.
