On the last day of March in 2010, the life of 20-year-old Terrance Bonds, an African-American male, was tragically cut short by gunfire on Claybourne Street in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood. Responding to a report of a person shot, Boston Police officers discovered Bonds at the scene. He was pronounced deceased, and his death was ruled a homicide, adding to a year that saw a significant number of killings in the Dorchester and Mattapan areas.
