Charles Frederick Bryant, a male of unspecified ethnicity, was a Special Agent with the Wabash Railway Police. On December 16, 1931, he was shot and killed in the Wabash Railway rail yards in South Venice, Illinois. Bryant was attempting to question several men who were seated around a bonfire near the Broadway crossing when he was fatally shot.
