Jennifer Jiles, a 33-year-old woman from Chicago, IL, was tragically shot in the back of the head on July 28, 2011, and succumbed to her injuries on August 5, 2011. The incident occurred in the Lawndale neighborhood, specifically in the 3100 block of West Douglas Boulevard, just west of Douglas Park.
