Adrianna Mayes, a 21-year-old mother, was tragically shot and killed on October 3, 2016, in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. She was standing outside with her 14-month-old daughter when she was struck by a bullet during a gunfight between individuals in moving vehicles. A neighbor witnessed the incident, rushed to her aid, and tried to help, but Adrianna passed away shortly after being transported to the hospital.
Her daughter, though present, was unharmed, but will now grow up without her mother due to this senseless act of violence.
