Andre Bradford, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 27, 2013, in the West Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. while Bradford was walking down the sidewalk in the 1600 block of West 59th Street. A male gunman approached and opened fire, striking Bradford in the back of the head. When first responders arrived, Bradford was unconscious and was quickly transported to John H.
