Devorite Diggins, a 21-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on November 13, 2013, at a gas station in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 2:20 p.m. when Diggins and his 21-year-old cousin entered the gas station located in the 800 block of West 59th Street. They began conversing with an associate of Diggins' cousin. As they attempted to leave the store, the associate blocked their path, forcing them to run to the back of the store. A group of males ...
