Brenda Clifton, a 44-year-old woman from Taylorville, Illinois, was found with a gunshot wound to the head on January 3, 2014. She was discovered at her residence in the 100 block of East Market Street. Despite being transported to Taylorville Memorial Hospital, Brenda Clifton succumbed to her injuries.
