Savanna was visiting the home when she was accidentally shot by a 12-year-old boy, who was a close friend of hers. The boy had brought a firearm to the residence and, while handling it, accidentally discharged the weapon, striking Savanna. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries just before 1:00 a.m. the following day.
