Ron Rowden, a 49-year-old white male from Collinsville, IL, was found dead on January 28, 2014, at his home in Maryville. Rowden, a former Collinsville High School soccer coach, had a notable career, leading the Kahoks to multiple state championships. His death was ruled a suicide, with police discovering his body after he shot himself in the head.
