Vaeden Hawkes, a 19-year-old, was fatally shot on April 24, 2023, in Collinsville, Illinois. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 200 block of North Seminary Street. Hawkes was found on a sidewalk and pronounced dead at the scene.
According to investigators, witnesses reported that four individuals ran away from the scene following the shooting. Collinsville police subsequently took three people into custody and were searching for a fourth suspect at the time of the report.
