Eric Woods, a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on February 27, 2014, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Lawndale neighborhood, where Eric lived. According to reports, Eric was fatally shot in the chest shortly after a basketball game ended around 10 PM. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed that Eric Woods was pronounced dead at the scene.
