Michael Holder, a 56-year-old African American man, was tragically shot to death on May 23, 2021, in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago, IL. He was found unresponsive in a car alongside another victim, Theodore Powell, aged 49, in the 4600 block of South Federal Street. Both men had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center. The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m., and no arrests were made immediately following the shooting.
