Herbert Goode, a 66-year-old man from Palos Park, Chicago, was tragically shot and killed on March 1, 2014. He was the owner of Silver Cloud Galleries, a custom framing company located on the Gold Coast. Goode was shot in the chest during what appeared to be a robbery attempt at his industrial building on the Southwest Side of Chicago. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Mount Sinai Hospital.
